Afternoon Tea
Afternoon tea at the Hydro Hotel is enough of a reason to visit Eastbourne and East Sussex! Served daily between 3pm and 5pm we offer a selection of options and are able to provide gluten free and vegan items.
Afternoon tea is served in the Lounge, Drawing Room or Conservatory and we can reserve a table in your preferred location. Lounges can be arranged for private events such as baby showers and hen parties.
Favourites include:
- Hydro Afternoon Tea. Hydro Afternoon Tea. Traditional tea sandwiches, homemade scone with fresh clotted cream and jam, plus a selection of cakes and pastries. Served on a three-tier cake stand. £23.50 per person.
- Vegan Hydro Afternoon Tea. Enjoy vegan sandwiches, homemade scone with fresh vegan cream and jam, plus a variety of vegan cakes. Served on a three-tier cake stand. £23.50 per person.

Add a 125ml glass of chilled Prosecco for an additional £10.95 per person or a bottle for £35.

We offer a selection of afternoon tea, dining, overnight stay and monetary vouchers to choose from, starting at only £10. Our gift vouchers make versatile presents and enable the recipient to have complete flexibility of when they wish to redeem their voucher.
Vouchers are purchased online using our gift voucher partner, VoucherCart. Gift vouchers can be instantly emailed to you or the recipient, or purchased and set to be delivered on a specific date, such as a birthday. You can also add your own message on the gift voucher to give it a personal touch.
Each voucher is valid for 12 months and can be redeemed by the recipient at their leisure. During their visit or stay, recipients can top-up their experience and pay for an additional night or afternoon tea for example.
