In July last year (2024) we had our wedding at the Hydro Hotel. We went to view multiple venues in the area, but this one topped all.

It was the most perfect wedding venue, It really set for a romantic and enchanting day. Luckily it was sunny on our wedding day, so we got to hold our ceremony outside at the beautiful Coastal Terrace. The Terrace overlooks the sea which is such a lovely touch.

The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, friendly and supportive from the beginning until the end. Just want to make a special mention about Julian and Francois. Thanks to their dedication and attention to detail, everything ran smoothly. The food was delicious and all our guests had a lovely time.

It was a day we will never forget. Thank you!

We chose the hydro hotel as our wedding venue, and it was just spectacular! The service they provided was impeccable- the duty managers, looking after us on the day ensured that everything ran like clockwork. It just made the entire day incredibly relaxing and stress free. We could just sit back and relax and truly enjoy the day to its fullest.

Thank you to Hannah and Jonathan! The food was fabulous for our wedding breakfast and the buffet in the evening was also delicious. A lot of our guests commented on the quality of the food as well as the venue itself.

Thank you also to Emily and Laura who arranged everything for us. They were incredible! We had so many questions and these were answered so quickly and really put our minds at rest. Emily and Laura just made the entire experience stress free and easy. They made sure that we truly had the perfect wedding and organised the very best day for us. To top all of the above off, the venue is just stunning!

The views from coastal terrace are breathtaking and the hotel itself is timeless. If you want a perfect wedding, look no further than the Hydro hotel! The hotel itself and the rooms are fabulous too – we will certainly be back for a stay for our wedding anniversary.

Thank you so much for helping us host and organise our wedding on Sunday! We genuinely had the time of our lives, and the day felt truly special, blessed and magical. We cannot thank Laura, Emily and the team enough!!

Firstly, thank you for showing us the venue last October. The venue has such a special significance to us, as Aaron’s grandparents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary there. We fell in love with the hotel instantly, and knew it was the right setting for us.

Thank you both for being so responsive in your emails and making every effort to accommodate all our needs (music, canapes , amazing food etc)! Thirdly, thank you for looking after us on the day. The team kept coming and making sure we were happy and had everything we needed. The food was delicious and all our guests enjoyed themselves so much.

The gardens were truly beautiful and we’re so pleased we got to have our wedding outdoors!! We are so happy with the day and we cannot recommend and thank the hotel and your team enough.

The Hydro Hotel arranged our wedding reception lunch. Each guest was able to choose a personalised individual menu, which was absolutely amazing – fabulous !

The team were able arrange for us to show a video of the wedding ceremony and music. Service was spot and thanks to the effort and advice of Events Organiser Emily and Manager Barry, everything on the day went off without any hitches – in fact everything was amazing. The garden room was just perfect with lots of French doors opening onto the terrace with tables and chairs and the beautiful gardens with views of the sea below. a Perfect setting for a celebration lunch.

We recently got married at the Hydro Hotel and it was the most amazing day. The hotel was incredibly accommodating for all of our requests – of which there were a few! The stay itself was also lovely, and the pool is great. I would highly recommend to anyone!

We had the ceremony, afternoon and evening all at the hotel, the reason why is that the venue is fantastic and the staff are absolutely faultless.

Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, Jonathan the general manager gave up his parking space to make life easier for my wife-to-be, Laura and Emily helped us plan and co-ordinate our whole day from months in advance (our wedding wasn’t the traditional one hence it took a huge amount for them to accommodate what we envisaged), Sascha was amazing as a waitress as she mingled with our guests and had so many of us laughing and Andy was so hospitable at 1:30 am when my wife needed a pot of tea and some cold bottles of water.

As a magician I have performed at The Hydro numerous times and magi Shed at countless weddings, that’s exactly why I knew this was the place to get married for me and my wife.

I have also eaten here in the past, had drinks here in the past and never had anything other than excellent service.

This hotel isn’t a new chrome and polished steel type of place, it has history, character and charm, the staff are polished and execute their roles brilliantly.

I very rarely write reviews online but the whole team at The Hydro deserve every ounce of praise.

Celebrated our wedding reception here with family and friends. Spent the night in the hotel too. The hotel is wonderfully situated, warm and comfortable inside with a relaxed atmosphere. Staff are very helpful and attentive. There is a choice of locations to suit various size of functions. Will definitely return.

I recently got married and had the reception at the Hydro hotel. From the moment my husband and I spoke to the manager to discuss the wedding reception to the big day I can’t fault the staff and the service we were given. We were always responded to quickly if we had any questions and I felt they had everything ready for the wedding day.

The day went so smoothly, the food was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. All the guests had a wonderful time and for those that stayed we reserved the Orangery which was a nice touch the next morning. We were given a day to remember and are so pleased we chose the Hydro as our wedding venue.
