Therapeutic massage is designed to relieve severe tension in the muscles and connective tissue or fascia. This type of massage focuses on the muscles located below the surface of the top muscles. Therapeutic massage is often recommended for individuals who experience consistent pain or athletes involved in heavy physical activity and those who have sustained physical injury. It is not uncommon for recipients of therapeutic massage to have a new muscle ache for a day or two, but rest assured, the benefits are profound. 40 minutes – £35
Massage has the power to relax, heal and help release emotion and tension without the aid of medication. Massage therapy allows you to relax, realign and rejuvenate. There are many positive benefits to receiving massage therapy on an ongoing basis. With the busy lives we lead, we can all gain much from a little stress management, through effective massage treatments designed to address individual needs and bring about effective results. 40 minutes – £35
The ultimate relaxing massage including the scalp, face and feet. 70 minutes – £55
Sports massage has many benefits. In addition to feeling good, sports massage reduces the heart rate and blood pressure, increases blood circulation and lymph flow, reduces muscle tension, improves flexibility and relieves pain. Sports massage can also include pre-event, post event and maintenance techniques that promote greater athletic endurance and performance. It reduces the chance of injury and shortens recovery time. Deep tissue work varies greatly. What one calls deep tissue another will call light. When receiving deep tissue massage it is important to communicate what you are feeling. 40 minutes – £35
Natural, aromatic essential oils are tools for healing and combined with the soothing power of massage have enormous therapeutic benefits for the body. By their fragrance and absorption through the skin, essential oils also have subtle effects on the mind and emotions, helping to promote relaxation, balance and harmony. A truly holistic therapy! Aromatherapy is an excellent preventative treatment as it helps to relieve stress and related conditions. It stimulates our natural immune mechanisms and particular oils have an affinity with certain systems of the body helping to alleviate respiratory, digestive, circulatory or hormonal problems. 40 minutes – £35
