Some of our events that have took place.
Charity Garden Fete Over £2500.00 was raised at the Hydro Hotel's Garden Fete on Sunday 1st August 2010. The money raised will go towards our chosen charites for 2010, St Dunstan's and Delmelza Hospice Care for Children. A big thank you to all the Staff who gave up their time to run the event and all our local suppliers and guest who gave us donations for the stalls and raffle. Final Special Thanks go to Michael Fish for opening our fete and helping us on the day.

Chestnut Tree House The Girls from the Hydro raised over £1200 when they took part in the Chestnut Tree House's Midnight Walk on the 3rd July 2010.

Cancer Research UK Students from the local Eastbourne Park College put on a Charity Morning Coffee in aid of Cancer Research UK and helped raise £379.00 for the charity. The Hydro Hotel donated the Venue and refreshments for the event. Well done to all the students for their hard work on this event.

St Wilfrids Hospice Over £400.00 was raised by Simon Bibby when he took part in the Sky Diving Challenge for St Wilfrids Hospice. Simon jumped from 12,000 feet to help raise money for the hospice.

St Wilfrids Hospice The Hydro Hotel were crowned the pancake kings and queens and congratulated by Mayor of Eastbourne. Suzanna Da Silva our Deputy Head Receptionist was first to cross the line on a very wet morning. Well done to all six of the Hdyro Team for taking part.

Friends of the South Downs Community School General Manager Ian Turnbull along with his wife Alison and friend Alison Turner all took part in the Eastbourne Half Marathon to raise money for the Friend of the South Downs Community Special School. They raised a total of £1250.00 for the school.

South Downs Community School £600.00 was raised during the Christmas and New Year Period for the Children of the South Downs Community Special School.

Breast Cancer Support £600.00 was raised during the Christmas and New Year Period which was donated to Breast Cancer Research.

National Autistic Society Ian Turnbull took park in the Royal Parks Half Marathon to help raise awareness and funds for the National Autistic Society. Total of £800.00 was raised.

South Downs Community School £140.00 was raise after Chris Greenacre ran a guess the weight of his Giant Marrow that he grew at home. The marrow weighed in at a whopping 78lb.

MacMillan Cancer Support The Hydro took part in the worlds biggest coffee morning when we held an event for the Macmillan Cancer Support. Hannah Francis organised the coffee morning and £375.00 was raised

Bristish Heart Foundation Salena Round took part in the London to Brighton bike ride raising over £600.00 for the British Heart Foundation.

Wear it Pink Day £119.00 was raised when staff paid to wear pink for the day with the money going to Breast Cancer campaign.

Chris's Pumpkin Chris Greenacre raised £55.00 with a Guess the Weight of his home grown Pumpkin. The money was added to our charity pot.
